TYLER PERRY, STEVE HARVEY, AND MORE JOIN EARN YOUR LEISURE FOR INVEST FEST 2022

For their second annual Invest Fest, Earn Your Leisure visited the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta again. More than 12,000 people attended the festival this year, which featured a weekend-long schedule of events and expert-led panels, including investing, entrepreneurship, real estate, and financial literacy. Billionaire Donahue Peebles, chairman of Chick-fil-A, billionaire Dan T. Cathy, T.I., Dame Dash, Terrence J, DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and many others, were among the speakers.

Black Men Ventures held a pitch competition where ConcessionTeam placed 2nd place.

Black Men Ventures is a 501(c)3 organization.

They function at the intersection where founders and funders meet. While venture capital has seen exponential growth over the past decade, research shows that Black business owners receive less business financing, less often, and at higher rates.

Their competition is an opportunity for founders to raise funds directly from the consumer community, and their strategic partnerships create access to resources designed to help founders achieve and sustain success.
